This story is about two sisters, Michelle and Hyacinth Lawson who dream of making it as entertainers. The path they take leads them to New York and California. We witness the obstacles they endure and what develops as a result of that journey. Initially, they wanted to be successful on Broadway but Michelle prevailed. Hyacinth lost the lead in a play to her sister but it did not diminish their love for each other. Although, Hyacinth was cast in it, after awhile she opted for a change of scenery via California. She went to live with her friend, Britannica. Hyacinth landed a role in a movie opposite the very popular actor, Tyler Winters. The movie did very well. Riding on the momentum of her success, Britannica encouraged Hyacinth to try out for a guest starring role on the Soap Opera(Ciboney), where Britannica worked. The sisters adventure includes dealing with people of unscrupulous nature and how they managed to rise above some dastardly deeds. They were each others support system. Hyacinth had an affair with Tyler Winters and became embroiled in a bitter battle with another actress over Tyler's affections. She would find out what it's like to get publicity thrust on you without seeking it. While Hyacinth was in California, Michelle found a confidante in a kindhearted and generous soul named Kyle Hutchins. They established a friendship and eventually he became her manager. She was able to put together a show that rivaled the best but set her apart from the rest and she stood out. Michelle ended up working with Mortimer Fontaine, a tall slightly built but follicle challenged man. He runs a casino and wanted to rule everything and everyone. Mortimer and Kyle were always on opposite sides especially when it came to Michelle. Mortimer tried his best to get between them. Hyacinth and Michelle were honored at a luncheon as two of ten Most Fascinated Women. It was in addition to the accolades that they had received and the culmination of a lot of hard work. The success that the sisters attained could not have been sweeter considering their early childhood. Their grandmother was the guiding force behind them because of their absentee parents. She took them in and nourished them. They cherished her but there's a secret that was lurking. Would the sisters find out? If they did, how would they react?
