They also consider saluting the flag as idolatry. Jehovah’s Witnesses do not believe in the immortality of the soul and say that this is the teaching of the devil. They also say that after a person dies, he lives happily in the ‘earthly paradise’, thus contradicting all the promises of the heavenly kingdom.
