Why use the VGC Note: Training? Teambuilding and testing are crucial for a Trainer. The final section of the notebook, reserved for the Sword and Shield Battlespot, is a tool at your disposal to approach the competitive matches more strategically, gathering information on the opposing Pokémon as it discovered Moves, Tools, Abilities, and Potential. How to use the VGC Note: Training Name your Team, and record your Pokémon's Moves, Items, Abilities and EVs Spread. You can write down the Rental Code, in case your Team is already on Sword and Shield. You have 5 games in Best of One to test your Team. Take note of the opposing Pokémons, and all the features that you discover during the matches. It can help you to understand which Pokémons are currently used in the Meta, and which are the most used Teams. At the end of each match, mark which were your Team's highlights that make you win, or which were the weaknesses that caused you the defeat. Analyze the results of your Team at the end of the 5 testing matches: which matchups are you most afraid of? Which, instead, can you cope with more easily? Do you need to edit something in your Team? After testing 20 different Teams, you have 100 games in Battlespot, where you can train yourself to analyze your opponent's team as a true Pro Player, and you can prepare for the next tournament in Best of Three!
