Submission Of the proposition to State officers and delegates, and also to several gentlemen (not delegates), eminent in State reputation, of long experience in the public service, and also noted for their repugnance to blazonry in any form, elicited their unanimous indorsement of the plan as one Of undoubted utility in expediting the work of the Convention and consequent value to the State.
