The Commission responded to a Board's request for changes in the composition and role of the Policy and Management Commission. It recommends five instead of four Commissioners be selected from outside the County. The fifth Commissioner would be nominated by the State and Local Government Committee of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. The Public Administrator-Public Guardian would act as a sixth member of the Commission, but would have no vote.
