Excerpt from Reorganization Report Submitted to the Twenty-Eighth Legislative Assembly by Governor Sam C. Ford: January 4, 1943 Section 6 authorized the Governor, with the advice of the advisory committee, to put into effect by executive order any recommendations not requiring legislative action. Section 7 required the Governor, by and with the advice of the advisory committee, to make a report to the 28th Legislative Assembly covering recommendations contained in reports, indi cating which recommendations have been directed to be put into effect by executive order. He was also directed to make such other recommendations as he might deem proper. Section 8' conferred additional powers on the Governor if needed, to secure the desired information.
