The deterioration of parking structures is now a cause of serious alarm. The main problem is corrosion caused by road salt and water which penetrate the concrete. Construction and environmental factors and maintenance procedures are the key elements in this deterioration. The objectives of this study were as follows: 1. To identify those factors that favourably affect the serviceability of parking structures so that the characteristics that have resulted in durable structures could be isolated; 2.
