Drama documentary is a program category unique to television. Combining the factual approach of documentary with the entertainment values of drama, dramadoc/docudrama has featured in television schedules for over forty years, and has often been the focus of controversy. Questions are frequently asked about how the viewer is to judge between fact and fiction, and whether such programs invade individuals’ privacy. No Other Way to Tell It is an introductory book which defines the form, and reviews its history and development on British and American television. The people who make the programs--television producers, writers, actors and lawyers--give their views, and recent co-production work between Granada TV in Britain and Home Box Office in America is examined. Hostages, a co-production which was bitterly opposed by the British and American hostages released from captivity in Beirut at the beginning of the decade, is used to illustrate the changes that are now taking place within the medium.

With 1 Corinthians 13:11 as a starting point, this book establishes a standard process within a biblical context for helping the transition from youth to adulthood. It is especially designed to help parents and young men who are struggling and need to see and face the reality of growing up. It encourages young men to step up, put away childish things, take responsibility for their lives, and understand God's definition of manhood.

Three Lives Three short stories comprise Gertrude Stein’s first significant work, each a psychological portrait of a different woman. “The Good Anna” is a kindly but domineering German servant. “The Gentle Lena” apathetically endures her miserable life until she dies in childbirth. “Melanctha” is a young Black woman learning about sexuality and love. Different as they may be, all three women are bound by poverty—and all three face the restrictions of class, race, and sex with resignation. Tender Buttons Stein spoke of maintaining a “continuous present,” comprised of “moments of consciousness,” independent of time and memory. Nowhere is this more clear than in her prose poems Tender Buttons. Their repetitive sentences, juxtaposition of sounds, and simple language connote this continuous presence. To live in this state is “to begin again and again,” to “use everything.” Each of the three sections, “Objects,” “Food,” and “Rooms,” employs both this repetition and disjointed words to build images. Prose poetry at its most abstract expression, Tender Buttons “is to writing…what cubism is to art.” (W.G. Rogers)

What a wonderful Summer it is. I wash, spit and drink love. From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same. Perfect! If there is ever an adjective for the sunny days and moonlights. I could find beauty in anything and everything. The nights; left hope for a morning of reunion. The afternoons for rendezvous, and evenings for long walks in gardens. Tell me what else is held back from love? Aiyeko-ooto observes a summer of lovers. 50 poems in 5 movements, greens are luxuriant, when you are happy. The colors of flowers radiant and shimmering. Even though a few spots of rain interrupt our rituals. We justify it; with a need to cool the heat. OK; so maybe it's not perfect. Soft as sandy shores are, don't you get few grains; blown into your eyes? Since when has that stopped anyone; going to the beach? If Summer comes again, I'll be there!
