Of course we could also say that he would not have had it so Difficult not to have had such a complex way of being, after all, he was lucky to be welcomed by a wealthy (very wealthy) couple, who paid for his education in the best schools (also in Europe) and who, at except for his mother, he adored him. But neither Poe was an easy guy nor his father an understanding soul, the train crash was brutal and for history there is what we know that one and the other did and that we already have more details here.
