ECCWS is a well-established event on the academic research calendar and now in its 22nd year its key aim remains the opportunity for participants to network and share ideas. The scope of the papers ensure an interesting conference. The subjects covered illustrate the wide range of topics that fall into this important and ever-growing area of research. The opening keynote presentation is given by Prof. Dr. Kai Rannenberg, from Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany on the topic of Multilateral Security: Defending one's assets without destroying one's values. The second day of the conference will open with an address by Prof. Nineta Polemi, University of Piraeus, Greece speaking on CyberSecPro: An agile and collaborative approach to cybersecurity practical trainings. With an initial submission of 132 abstracts, after the double blind peer review process 64 academic research papers, 12 PhD research papers, 2 Masters research papers 2 Non-Acdemic research papers and 5 work-in-progress papers are published in the Conference Proceedings.
