SHAH BAHAUDDIN NAQSHBAND - LIFE AND WORKSI am ecstatic that once again I have the occasion to speak to you. However this time the overflow is of Hazrat Shah Bahauddin Naqshband, one whose very essence pulsates through the entire Sufi path. Spiritual awareness is like water, it takes the color and shape of the cup. Allah's Knowledge is so great, that however much we take; it is like a drop of a huge ocean. It like a vast garden, however much we have cut it is as if we had cut but one flower says an ecstatic Bahauddin. Yet still the fundamentalists try to cage this sublime awareness of eternal oneness within narrow boundaries of religion and beliefs. Sprituality begins when you cross the narrow boundaries of religion and religious beliefs. The entire ummat or creation is the responsibility of the one who has attained spiritual awareness. But very rarely you find someone who is versatile to speak of various paths and masters with authenticity and thus brings out truth in its sublimity.Sufism is such overflow of love a great experiment in human consciousness: how to transform human consciousness into ishq. It is alchemy. And through this work and others my effort to bring about the alchemical change in consciousness that be possible! This is what I am doing here with you. You may be aware, you may not be aware of it, but this whole experiment is to create in you as much love energy as possible. Man can be transformed into pure love energy. Just as there is atomic energy discovered by physics, and a small atom can explode into tremendous energy, so too each cell of your heart can explode into tremendous love. That love is called ishq. It is atomic in nature. No one can destroy this. You may call this Love or Awareness, or Consciousness or God matters not. What really matters it to be with this energy. Even more significant is to imbibe it into your being. And then let it overflow your being. Also let it surround your life, your living. Sufism is the path of the overflow of energy. This is Naqshbandiyah Nisbet - the Tariqat.

This book examines how Islam is digitally mediated at a time of technological change, enhanced digital literacy and proactive engagement in Islamic online content by authorities and influencers. What is the impact of this on societies, believers and understandings of Islam? Islamic Algorithms provides a thorough exploration of Cyber Islamic Environments (CIEs) through representations of significant historical and religious influences across contexts and diversities. This ranges from jinn and angels through to contemporary influencers. Gary R. Bunt raises issues of how digital content is embedded in contemporary understandings of Islam and their dissemination. Bunt shows how the interpretation of pivotal figures in Islam – including Muhammad and his family, scholars and imams – can be informed by new generations of digital influences, such as apps and social networking, which have become primary sources of information for many Muslims globally.

This is a very old book written about the advice and discourses (speeches) of Khaja Naqshaband in the Urdu language. Its title is well known in the Urdu language as Malfufzat Khaja Naqshaband. And which was compiled by Syed Abdul Wadud Shah in the Urdu language and I have translated this book of the most ancient and celebrated Persian book about Sufi'ism into the English language will, I hope, be found useful not only by the number of students familiar with the subject at first hand but also by many readers. This is a very old book in which there are advises and instructions, especially available for Taleb (student) and it refers to a person who is committed to a Murshid (spiritual master) in a Tariqa (spiritual path) of Sufism and it is also known as a Salik (Arabic: سَالِك‎), a mureed is an initiate into the mystic philosophy of Sufism and all these details of pieces of advice by the spiritual master Khaja Bahauddin Naqshband are added in this book and also in this book there are some great achievements which are not yet known to the general person are published in a very interesting style so for this reason the readers will find great interest and attention in this matter. Hadrat Baha-ud-Din Naqshband Bukhari (Persian: بهاءالدین محمد نقشبند بخاری‎) (1318-1389) was the founder of what would become one of the largest and most influential Sufi Muslim orders, the Naqshbandi.Biography Hadrat Baha-ud-Din was born on 18 March 1318 CE (14 Muharram, 718 AH) in the village of Qasr-i-Hinduvan (later renamed Qasr-i Arifan) near Bukhara, in what is now Uzbekistan and it was there that he died in 1389. He came into early contact with the Khwajagan (the Masters), and was adopted as spiritual progeny by one of them, Baba Muhammad Sammasi, while still an infant. Sammasi was his first guide on the path, and more important was his relationship with Sammasi's principal Khalifa (successor), Amir Kulal, the last link in the silsila, or chain of teachers, before Khaja Baha-ud-Din. 1.Prophet Muhammad( peace be upon him)2.Hadrat Abu Bakr3.Hadrat Salman the Persian4.Hadrat Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr5.Hadrat Ja'far al-Sadiq6.Hadrat Bayazid Bistami7.Hadrat Abu al-Hassan al-Kharaqani8.Hadrat Abu Ali al-Farmadi9.Hadrat Yusuf Hamadani10. Hadrat Baha'al-din Naqshband BukhariLineage In her book "Pain and Grace: A Study of Two Mystical Writers of Eighteenth-Century Muslim India," Annemarie Schimmel writes: "Khwaja Mir Dard`s family, like many nobles from Bukhara, led their pedigree back to Baha'uddin Naqshband, after whom the Naqshbandi order is named, and who was a descendant, in the 11th generation, of the 11th Imam al-Hasan al-Askari." Hadrat Baha-ud-Din was buried in his native village, Qasr-i Arifan, in 1389. In 1544 Khan Abd al-Aziz built over his grave a tomb and surrounding buildings. The Memorial complex is located 12 kilometers from Bukhara and is today a place of pilgrimage. His well known and famous sayings are as follows. I answered, "In order that whatever I say and whatever I want will happen."I was answered, "That will not be. Whatever We say and whatever We want is what will happen."I said, "I cannot do that. I must be permitted to say and to do whatever I like, or I do not want this Way."

One of the distinguished schools of Islamic spiritual discipline, the Naqshbandi Sufi Order has a long and illustrious history from the first days of Islam. Led by the shaykhs of the Golden Chain-inheritors of spiritual knowledge from Prophet Muhammad-the Naqshbandi Order has always played a central, pivotal role in the life of people in the Muslim world and survived the turmoil and tribulations of the past century to remain one of the few authentic mystical traditions maintaining a living link with its ancient past. The extraordinary vision of the Naqshbandi Saints was manifest in their establishment of fixed devotions and daily practices firmly rooted in the Qur'an and Sunnah of the Prophet. These practices have enabled devout seekers to awaken certainty of belief and to attain stations of nearness to the Divine Presence. The renewed prominence of this order at the turn of the 21st century, due to the indefatigable striving of Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani, signals an impending change to our society in which aspirants to Divine Service will be granted to transcend the bounds of the physical senses in order to fulfill the unexplored potential in each human heart. The Naqshbandi Devotions are a source of light and energy, an oasis in a worldly desert. Through the manifestations of Divine Blessings bestowed on the practitioners of these magnificent rites, they will be granted the power of magnanimous healing, by which they seek to cure the hearts of mankind darkened by the gloom of spiritual poverty and materialism. We pray that each person who picks up this book of devotions with sincere intention to observe any of its efficacious practices will receive a portion of the blessings and manifestations bestowed on the greatest saints of earlier times.
