The story showcases how can waywardness and unrelenting courageousness sometimes lead towards self infliction or it may even result in experience of the lifetime. This is a story about a bunch of post graduates who believe in living life king size. No challenge is big enough for them, as they go by the motto of - ?risking it all?. Although the style of writing is quite detailed and tends to be introspective at times, there are frequent doses of humor and thrill to capture the reader's attention. Since the story is about the idiosyncrasies of lead protagonists, average age of whom is not more than 30, the author believes it should suit the psyche of young generation; although while conceiving the idea and going about it, he never targeted it to any specific audience. Frankly speaking anyone who feels and live by the motto that- ?It is passion not the intellect that drives the world, ? would find it an interesting read.

The New York Times bestselling author of A Simple Favor brings her “sly, satirical, subversive” (L.S. Hilton, author of Ultima) prose to a pitch-perfect psychological suspense novel about a young couple whose disintegrating marriage and remote new home in rural, upstate New York make for a terrifying descent into the darker side of human nature. When Emma’s husband, Ben, falls in love with a large Victorian mansion for sale in upstate New York, he swears to her the fixer-upper will be worth the risk. With a baby on the way, Emma would like to live in a charming, safe community, after all—and in a space larger than a one-bedroom New York City apartment. On impulse, she agrees to Ben’s plan and they put in an offer on the house. Sure, the mansion has a somewhat creepy backstory and is a bit dilapidated, but Emma and Ben are in this together, aren’t they? When strange things start happening, Emma begins to experience a little buyer’s remorse. What’s the real history of this house? Is its dark history repeating itself? Why does her husband suddenly seem so distant? Is she in danger? Is her baby? Combining the domestic anxiety of Liane Moriarty and the haunting twists and turns of Shirley Jackson, All I Want is an intensely absorbing novel that will change the way you look at your neighbors.

A key refrain in Reformed theology is that God's Spirit trumpets the message of salvation through Jesus Christ into every nook and cranny of the universe--but how? And in what way does this cosmic truth touch and shape the mundane reality of our lives and our world? In this distillation of his Warfield Lectures, delivered at Princeton Theological Seminary in spring 2014, leading Reformed theologian Cornelis van der Kooi examines the relationship of the Holy Spirit to Jesus Christ. He demonstrates how a fuller understanding of the interplay between Christology and pneumatology can encourage the Christian church to have open eyes and ears for the inbreaking of God's "incredibly benevolent force" into the cosmological emptiness of today's world.

Excerpt from The Benevolent Spirit and the Higher Education: An Address Before the Educational Association of Virginia, at Norfolk, July 8, 1881 That grand educator, John Milton, began his famous Tractate on Education with these words: I am long since persuaded that to say and do aught worth memory and imitation, no purpose or respect should sooner move us than simply the love of God and Of mankind. And Shaftesbury has beautifully defined the benevolent spirit: To love the public; to study universal good, and to promote the interest of the whole world, as far as lies within our power, is the height of goodness, and makes that temper which we call divine. Love of family and friends may render a man, in a narrow circle, generous; pity for human suffering, charitable; attachment to his locality, public-spirited; and devotion to his country, patriotic; but a truly benevolent spirit will lift him above the narrow sphere of family, locality, state, section, and nation, and fill him with universal good-will and an active desire for the happiness and prosperity of the whole human family, of every nation, creed, race, color, or condition. A benevolent man cannot be indifferent to the welfare of nations, however distant, or to the happiness of individuals, however far removed above him by reason of birth, education, social position, or official station, or below him by ignorance, poverty, misfortune, vice, or even crime. While life lasts and the possibility of doing good remains, so long will benevolence feel interested in promoting the happiness of all - even of the unworthy.
