Flaring tensions over Jerusalem's Temple Mount have led to the complete structural collapse of the Dome of the Rock. Prophesied for millennia, the final terror is at hand, followed by seven long years of apocalyptic warfare locked in stalemate. And then the war is over. Or so it would seem. From out of nowhere, and to the cheers of an exhausted globe, a charismatic teacher and mystic calling himself Janus Philio has crowned himself King of kings in Jerusalem. World-healing miracles ensue, but is he the second coming of Jesus Christ-which he refuses to call himself-or another in a seemingly endless series of Antichrists? Meanwhile, rising from obscurity in plague-ravaged Los Angeles, preacher's son and former NFL superstar Julian "the Mighty" Quinn leads a grassroots rebellion that topples the war-happy government in Washington, propelling him to the pinnacle of American political power. Viewed as the only counterweight to Philio's heresy, Quinn soon falls under the spell of a secret society known only as "the Guardians" set on assassinating the King of kings to hasten a return to traditional values. It's after Armageddon that the ultimate battle over the future of mankind on Earth begins.

The final book of the Bible, Revelation prophesies the ultimate judgement of mankind in a series of allegorical visions, grisly images and numerological predictions. According to these, empires will fall, the "Beast" will be destroyed and Christ will rule a new Jerusalem. With an introduction by Will Self.

The following pages, begun several years ago, and now, in the mercy of God, completed, are an effort to give a brief series of notes upon the first book of Samuel. The title, "King Saul: the man after the flesh," shows us the central figure of the book, a type too of the fleshly condition of the nation as a whole. The lessons connected with the rise, reign and end of King Saul are many, and all point to the utter unprofitableness of the flesh in its greatest excellence to be aught that is acceptable to God. The subject in one sense is a depressing one, and the proper effect should be to turn us from the contemplation of the man after the flesh to the man after God's own heart, David, who comes upon the scene in the latter part of the book and shows the contrast between faith and nature. As a type of Christ, he is the antidote to the baleful example and influence of poor Saul, and thus shows how God would ever lead, even through the knowledge of sin in ourselves and of the evil about us, not to occupation with that, but with Him who is the Deliverer of His people. May the Lord use this effort to trace the workings of the flesh and the triumphs of His grace to the blessing of His people! A word of explanation may not be out of place as to the character of Jonathan spoken of in the body of the book. The matter is one of great delicacy, and the writer shrinks from taking the edge off any wholesome lessons that have been connected with the character and position of Jonathan, but would only call attention to what is said in the body of the book and leave each reader free to draw his own conclusions.

A god obsessed. A woman who can't escape his love.As old as time, born from nothing, I command the forsaken remnants of all that once lived. Bone shapes the kingdom over which I rule, and the rotting flesh of man does my bidding. Sequestered away from mortals, I long for warmth, but everything I touch is cold.Except for her, the woman who stumbles into the shadowed depths of the Pale Court. In her reluctant embrace, Ada calls me the devil, so I show her pleasure like only the devil can.?I am the heat that rouses her flesh.I am the longing that trembles her bone.?No matter how she hisses defiance, her body was made to obey my every desire. I am its master, no matter her wish to flee my dark, cold kingdom. Ada will never escape my devotion. Bone will shackle her to me for eternity.?Because immortality is loneliness in disguise. A curse I cannot bear suffering alone any longer, so I lock Ada away behind doors guarded by corpses, forcing her to carry it with me forevermore.Welcome to the Pale Court, my Queen.
